Convertible Car Seats

Harper is about an inch from outgrowing her infant seat, so I figured it is time to start looking for her next seat. Britax seats are on sale right now, so I’m trying to decide quickly what to get. I am debating between the Britax Boulevard 70 or the Graco My Ride 65.

The Graco is about $100 cheaper and would give Harper more leg room in the long haul (I plan to keep her rear facing for awhile). The Britax is nicer quality with overall better reviews, but is that worth the price? If you already have one of these will you help a girl out! What did you get and why?

Thanks!

MLK Weekend

Over my three day weekend, we took a trip with family to Dallas. We went shopping at Ikea. I love that store! My whole bedroom is basically from Ikea! Love it. We went 5 years with no bedroom furniture (college and moving a lot) so it’s nice to have some finally.

Harper is looking happy to be there. Smile

January 2012 036

We bought a desk, bookshelf, mirror, and a few other small things.

Harper did really well on the drive there and back too! We also made a detour to the Baby Gap Outlet. We found the cutest little Valentine’s Day outfit for her.

I’m getting excited for V-Day! We don’t have any big plans, but for some reason I’m excited. I hope to start a tradition with Harper. I want to buy her a book/magazine every year and some sort of treat. This year sweet potato puffs will have to do. Smile  We are also going to be starting the 14 days of pink on the first.

Why? 1. Because this girl has got a lot of pink!

2. Because I love the color.

3. It’s February!

New Background

I decided to go back to a simple background. The other one was cute, but a little to busy for me. I am enjoying my Saturday with Harper.

She is getting so big. She is full blown crawling now as well as saying mama and dada. I don't think she is associating these with us yet, but I could be wrong. She is pulling up on tables and getting into all sorts of things.

This morning we went to Panera to have breakfast with my mom. I feel bad that she doesn't get to see Harper as often as the mother in law.

Have you guys seen this girl's blog? I'm getting lot's of hair ideas from her. Love it!

Sorry this is random thoughts, but hey at least I'm updating right?

Harper is 7 months!

*This post is late, but hey… I’m getting there!

December 2011 028

Harper you are getting so big! You now have 4 teeth and starting to show signs of crawling. You get up on all fours and rock. You have had sweet potatoes, carrots, gbs, peas, spinach, squash. Your favorites are sweet potatoes and squash. You take about 4 6oz. bottles a day. This sometimes worries me because I feel like you should be eating more. You are measuring good on the growth chart though. so I guess I won’t worry. You are getting so independent! I love watching you grow and discover things!

I love you Harper Munchkin baby!
