Harper is 7 months!

*This post is late, but hey… I’m getting there!

Harper you are getting so big! You now have 4 teeth and starting to show signs of crawling. You get up on all fours and rock. You have had sweet potatoes, carrots, gbs, peas, spinach, squash. Your favorites are sweet potatoes and squash. You take about 4 6oz. bottles a day. This sometimes worries me because I feel like you should be eating more. You are measuring good on the growth chart though. so I guess I won’t worry. You are getting so independent! I love watching you grow and discover things!

Harper’s First Christmas

We spent Christmas Eve at my in-laws. We each brought a snack food to share. I brought spinach dip and cheese sticks. Jacob brought and made deep fried snickers. We opened presents with family and then ate together. We played some rock band after that as well. Harper got a cute rocking lamb and some toys and feeding supplies. I got some hairspray and make-up. Jacob got some new tools and a  tool bag.

The First Ornament

Instead of buying an ornament for Harper’s first year I decided to make one. With the inspiration from Pinterest and the help of my mom we had a success! Harper did great and kept her hand still for the most part.

 

They turned out great, but I forgot to snap a pic of the finished product. I am keeping one for myself and giving the rest to the grandparents and greatgrands for Christmas! Gotta love homemade presents!

 

PS Seriously love Window Live Writer. If you have a PC and blog search for in under the start menu. It will change your blogging life! I can upload pics easy and can do cool things to them, like watermark them so creepos can’t hijack them off the internet. Love it.

Halloween

This was Harper's first Halloween. She dressed up as duck! She is the cutest! Jacob kept telling her to shake her tail feather! We got together at my mother in laws house and took pictures with her cousins. We then took her around to some houses and trick or treated. It was a fun night and made me look forward to even more holiday celebrations to come!

Dusting

So, maybe I should do some more updating! I am dusting this off and trying to do better.

I could say I haven't had time, but really I have just been lazy I guess. Most of my internet time has been spent pinterest! Addicting!
