Maternity Clothes: Just bought a couple new dresses for our cruise this summer. Not maternity, but they will cover a bump. :)

Gender: We are having a reveal at Harper's 2nd Birthday parthy 5-11-13!

Movement: none yet

Sleep: waking a couple times every night

What I miss: nothing

Cravings: tacos, spaghetti, Chik-fil-a 

Symptoms: Heartburn, nausea (threw up in the car on the way home from a dr. appt!) 

Best Moment This Week: Going to the Dr. and getting the gender sealed in an envelope. Jacob and I are finding our with everyone else!

Sleep: Not very well, Harper wakes me up sometimes, and then it takes forever to fall back asleep.

What I miss: Nothing really. 

Cravings: spaghetti, ken's pizza, tacos 

Symptoms: tons! Heartburn, nausea, tired, and other things too. :) 

Best Moment This Week: Being in the 2nd trimester and announcing the pregnancy!

I’m loving that a good friend from Tahlequah came to visit today. We had such a good time talking for hours. Never a lull in conversation. It’s just one of those friendships that’s good for the soul. My cup is full.

 

I realize now I should have take some pictures!

I’m loving that I bought a Canon Rebel T3!

 

It’s a early birthday/anniversary present. I’m so excited to have camera that is faster than my phone of point and shoot. Harper zips around and it is impossible to get good picture of her.

I’m loving that this weekend I am getting away to Dallas for the Fall Launch of Pampered Chef! So excited to hang out with some girls, and get some free products!

 

One of the reasons I  joined Pampered Chef was to get some products. I am loving their knife set and hope to earn them free very soon!

 

I’m loving the fall aisle at Hobby Lobby. Seriously walking through there made me smile. I love all that is fall!

 

And of course I’m loving this girl!

Catching Up

It’s been awhile, so here is the update:

Harper is almost 15 months! She is really into swimming, purses, gold fish, and wearing shoes. all. the. time.  

 

Summer is sooo hot, so we have been filling up our little blow up pool every few days. Harper loves to play in the water.

This her birthday present from us. We has a lingering baby shower gift card (I’m a hoarder of gift cards) that we used. I still need to have her name embroidered on it. She love to go chill in her chair.

For the Forth we went and swam with some people from church and ate some yummy cook out food. We then headed to my in laws for more food and fireworks.

I love this shot of her with her baby. She is becoming more aware of her toys.

 

 

Venturing into self-feeding… I know she should be in the highchair… lesson learned as the yogurt got flung across the room. Awesome.

My attempt at being a creative mom. Pudding finger paint. It was fun for about 5 mins.

One Is Just Around the Corner!

I should be in bed right now, but I feel bad for not posting for awhile! Oh my Harper is almost one! She is walking around, not full time though. Her little face is changing and she is looking older.  

 

First Grade only has 16 gets ups left till summer! I’m actually sad this year to see it end. Last year I was wrapped up in having a baby I never really got sad to end the year. This year is different. I will miss my kiddos and it’s crazy I will only get to have them 16 more days!

Easter

For Easter we had breakfast with my parents at our house. After that we went to church together at Cedar Ridge in Coweta. Next we went to my in laws for lunch, and an Easter Egg Hunt. Harper had fun and crawled around chasing after rolling eggs. She wore a smocked dress that we got from a sweet family in Stilwell. My mom made her bow, which I loved. I thought she looked beautiful! It's funny now how I think more about what she is going to wear, rather than what I am going to wear! Overall we had a good day. I think Harper enjoyed her first Easter!

What a difference a year makes!

First of all if you prayed for us last year THANK YOU!!!!

Last year at this time I was just informed that my school would be making cuts, and I would not have a job next year. Jacob was driving a school bus looking for full time work. Harper was due in about 2 months.

I was freaking out! God is so good though, and totally took care of us!

 

A week after Harper was born Jacob got hired at QT. (a really good company to work for) About 3 weeks after Harper was born I got rehired at my same school, only this time in first grade!

 

About a month after that we started looking for a house. Our lease was due at the end of the summer and after 5 years of apartment living I was ready to own a home! We got approved and started the building process in August.

Thank-you from the bottom of my heart for your prayers! Please let me know if I can pray for you in anyway.

 

God is so good.
