I want to say thank-you to those of you that prayed for my little family when I was a big pregnant girl about to have a melt down. If you recall I was really stressing about our future. We both were going to be unemployed very soon after Harper was born. God is good though and I am happy to report that we both have full time jobs with benefits. I got hired back in Broken Arrow, same school different grade. I will now be teaching first grade! I am excited, but nervous. I think my biggest worry is classroom management. Third graders are easier to manage, at least that's what I think. O well, I plan on really drilling my proceedures, so hopefully that will help! Also, Jacob got a job at QT! He is a night assistant manager. I am so thankful that he has a job, but the working nights part is really hard. I'm not sure how it will work when I start back at school. We are going to have to work very hard at our marriage this year with all the changes we are going through. He still desires to be full time in the ministry, working with skaters. Pray with me if you will that God will open doors for this ministry. I have to admit it was very sad this summer not be involved in anything youth group related. :( I could have been a sponsor like Jacob has been doing, but I want to soak up all the time I can with Harper!
That is another thing, I am thankful for my job, but would like to stay home with her. Well, really I would love to team teach with someone and only work part time, but I don't see BA allowing that to happen anytime soon! Anyway financially this is the best decision for us.
On a new note, we are taking another big step in life and we are building a house! YAY! I am soooo tired of apartment living (5 years). We are building in south BA through Rausch Coleman.
This is what it will look like! They should be breaking ground any day now! Counting down till October 31st!
Thanks for reading and praying!
